Warum Supra Cables?

The history of No-Nonsense

There are many different cable manufacturers today, which can sometimes make it difficult to choose the right product. When selecting a wide variety of products – such as vehicles or household appliances – it is also apparent that external appearance does not always allow conclusions to be drawn about actual quality.

SUPRA cables are recognisable by their characteristic ‘Ice Blue’ design. This deliberate design conveys a distinctive brand image that is strongly associated with Scandinavian, especially Swedish, design tradition. At the same time, the clear appearance draws attention to the performance inside.

The aim is to convey a special sense of quality – comparable to the clarity and tranquillity of Nordic water and ice – that reflects the actual performance beneath the surface.

The cables ensure signal transmission without deterioration within the defined limits and permanently meet or exceed the relevant requirements.

High quality standards are ensured through in-house research and development, advanced testing procedures and specialised production. The products comply with the most stringent requirements of current standards and regulations. Tailor-made manufacturing processes and comprehensive testing guarantee first-class quality – today and in the future – from Ljungskile, Sweden.

How it all began

Before 1976, speaker cables were just cables, often simple power cables similar to household lighting cables, with a diameter of no more than 2.5 mm. Then came Supra...

It started with the Supra Classic 2.5 mm, a major advance that shook the hi-fi world, and from then on, many followed our innovative ideas. Supra has won an impressive number of awards worldwide, often in comparison to more expensive competitors.

Following our trendsetting introduction in 1976 and our serious approach to hi-fi interconnect cables, Supra has contributed with numerous products such as LoRad, Sword and Ply, right up to the latest Cat8, USB and the groundbreaking Quadrax. And there are still new products just waiting to be launched.

The Supra concept, or perhaps better said, the Supra philosophy, can best be described as simple and straightforward no-nonsense design. All products should be made from parts that meet the highest audible and measurable quality standards.

• The products should be innovative and based on established scientific principles.

• We manufacture in our own production facilities, which are constantly monitored by our certified quality staff, here in Ljungskile, Sweden!
